Notification Absence for Incoming Messages

What went wrong?

Within one organization, I have configured two users: one logged in through a browser and the other using the desktop application. However, I am currently experiencing a problem where no notifications are being received when the browser user sends a message to the user on the desktop app. Despite having the notification settings turned on, I am unable to receive any notifications in this specific scenario.
